Rekli bi, koristim svoje demokratsko pravo mišljenja, javnog osvrta, blabla… Možda se ne slažem sa gospođom koja je autorica ovog članka, ali se definitivno ne slažem sa načinom na koji je sve to napisano. Pročitao sam članak jednog američkog novinara koji se (za razliku od mene) slaže sa njenim stajalištem ali je na jedan potpuno drugi (bolji) način ukazao na problem, pa čak i sugerirao rješenje. Mislim da je i bolje objasnio samu problematiku. Kako sam predugo čekao sa ovom objavom sada ne mogu pronaći taj članak i baš mi je žao… Ono što mi je još žao je to što je cijelu stranu dobilo “to”, a zaposlenici Rijekatekstil-Domusa / Istradoma / fiktivne firme, samo pola stranice iako su dobili otkaz nakon 20-30 godina staža, bez otpremnine.
Morati ćete se zadovoljiti sa “Virtualnim jahačem apokalipse”.

We are in fact doing this to ourselves, and our planet is smarter/stronger/bigger than us. He/she/it doesn’t need us, we need him/her/it. We need to co-exist peacefully. And you’ve seen the pictures of Tornadoes, earthquakes (hundreds of thousands dead), and other that don’t need formal introduction… This is what we got from our fathers and mothers, will some stay for the next generation??
In regards to my colleague’s post The new iPhone 3G with GPS I also wanted to share my opinion. I am very excited and anxious in using the new GPS technology in those cool new applications. But whats even more exciting is the cloud working. As Apple is another player to have entered this market (following Google apps, and acrobat.com from Adobe). I see this to be major contenders for taking the throne from Microsoft. Google and Apple have this advantage since they have their devices ready, to follow their users on the go. Boy do I love that term, on the go. Since I opened my company i didn’t get a decent vacation. It seems to me, I can’t even have one, unless I turn off all devices since I’ll be able to work from anywhere in the world.
It will be very interesting to give this device to your worker. He can go to a meeting, take notes, take pictures, instantly upload them to company’s server, and you will be able to know where your worker is currently located. It seems there will be no slacking on the job no more. Some will be happy with this, and like always some wont.
Usually I am very patient, and I still am. But all this hype is kinda making me nervous. Thing is, I cant wait to try the touch screen, or the multi touch screen, get online on my coffee break, use maps and all other applications. Especially after I saw those 50 winning applications for Google Android, that completely blew me away.
Now I am waiting for the latest Apple keynote (09.06.2008) to see what will they have now in stores for us. Supposedly iPhone 3G version, with a solar recharger? I just wanna see the price impact on other devices (older iPhone, and iPod touch) and then we’ll probably buy one or two (cant wait). Actually I would really like to get my hands on one of those Android thingies I am keeping an close eye on them, and they are suppose to ship late this year. Probably on Christmas shopping spree.
But what about the WiFi coverage in Rijeka, Croatia? And other people in Croatia, how many will use those devices?

Ovo je najsretniji dan u mom životu. Kao da je bila Nova godina sam se osjećao kada je stigao mail. Prvo je bila potvrda preko telefona, no nekako sam sebi nisam vjerovao. Nisam mogao vjerovati da nesretan događaj koji je trajao godinu i pol, konačno mu je došao kraj. No onda su i njihovi odvjetnici javili. Isprintao sam si taj mail i još uvijek se ježim na pomisao. Pamtit ću ovaj dan, svirao je Vibrasphere i Edi je rekao “stigao je mail” i izgovorio ime koje je izgovorio. Čitali smo mail i jednaka doza nesreće kada su nam se prvi put javili (sa tužbom od pola milijuna kuna), ovog puta je jednaka doza sreće, ako ne i veća. Sutra je novi dan.
Danas stojim hrabro, danas sam ponosan, danas sam sretan.
Bill Gates je rekao da negativno (svoje probleme) treba pretvoriti u nešto pozitivno. Mislim da razumijem što je mislio reći sa time, nadam se da ću i ja uspjeti u tome.
Kao što je i moj kolega edi.budimilic.com objavio na svom blogu, eto i mene, ovog puta na hrvatskom jeziku. Mislili smo da bi bilo zanimljivo napraviti još jednu web stranicu posvećenu izradi web stranica da testiramo neke stvari. To bi na neki način bilo otvaranje poslovnice, ali u Internet svijetu je sve tako neozbiljno, rekli bi neki. Što me navodi zašto druge hrvatske tvrtke ne bi imale nekoliko web stranica? Znam da Podravka ima…Vratimo se nama, kako egoistično… Uglavnom web-za-tvrtke.com je web stranica koja nudi izradu web stranica, i optimizaciju za tražilice, na neki način produžena ruka GEM Studija.

I just saw this ad from Greenpeace, and it just blew me away! I am not much of a protester, radical, green guy, but I know Earth is still our only home. When I was a kid, I loved that cartoon on Cartoon Network called Captain planet Like the information, energy also has to be free. We need to find a way to shut down the refineries, fix the garbage problem like the one in Naples in south Italy. We need to stop fixing, and start eliminating! Prevention is the best medication / cure, haven’t we learned that? Stop pointing fingers at others! Can we breathe money? Can we find better ways to earn money?
